chances and each time the food was disappointing. The pizza was undercooked in the middle and had bland, canned mushrooms. The 2nd time I had pizza, no mushrooms, it tasted very commercial - not like a small, authentic, mom-n-pop type flavor as I think it should have been. But.... much to their credit, they support local law enforcement in various fundraising, so I've gotta give them snaps for that. Service to the community is important to us... so that's why I gave them 3 stars. If I rated based solely on food, I'd give them only 2 stars.

blah blah this, etc. Sumo IS the best in Lakeland and puts a lot of the other places in the big cities to shame. We are lucky to have them! They are clean, and the food is fresh and yummy. ;)

not hold back on the shrimp in the chow mein - lots of nice big fresh shrimp! The food is fresh tasting no short cuts are taken with the quality or the quantity. Coming from up north, this is the best tasting Chinese food we have found in the last 20 years!
